That was the only field in which we could look at men with a sly smile and say, “Ha You can’t do that!” but seems like the gender equality is really being put into practicality as now children can have a “Mom-Daddy” or a “Dad-Mommy”. Mr.Thomas Beatie, 34 recently made headlines around the world after announcing to be pregnant with an anonymous donor and now he is the proud parent of a baby girl through normal delivery. Born with female reproductive organs Mr.Beatie decided to remove the breasts but keep the ovaries as according to him it was his dream to have a child one day. Formerly Tracy Lagondin, a Girl Scout and finalist in a teenage beauty peagent, Mr.Beatie is also happily married for five years.
Frankly speaking it seems more like too much of scientific advancement as we have something beyond and above the normal gender conventions. The event in itself is a ground breaking one but it does raise questions in the mind of a common man as rather than practicing things for our own passions some attention should be paid to the feelings of the coming generation as well. Varied the reaction may be but this definitely has made me raise an eyebrow about my own idea of women being reproductively having an upper hand on men.
